Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Saleio ("we", "us") provides a software service that helps you send personalized direct messages on X (formerly Twitter) and manage replies. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Your account

You need a valid email and a connected X account to use Saleio. You're responsible for what happens under your account, including keeping your sign-in credentials secure. One person per account — don't share logins.

3. Acceptable use

The service exists to help you do legitimate, opt-in-friendly outreach. You agree not to use Saleio to:

  • Send unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, or harassing messages.
  • Send unsolicited commercial messages in jurisdictions where that's prohibited.
  • Impersonate a person or company you don't have authority to represent.
  • Promote regulated products (firearms, controlled substances, gambling, etc.) without proper authorization.
  • Circumvent X's rate limits, anti-spam systems, or rules. You're responsible for following X's Terms.
  • Scrape, resell, or republish data obtained through Saleio in violation of X's Developer Agreement.

Repeated violations or a single egregious violation will result in suspension or termination of your account. We may also report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.

4. X API and third-party costs

Saleio uses the X API on your behalf. X charges separately for API usage (per-DM, per-lookup) and may change those prices at any time. Those costs are billed to you by X directly, not by us. You're responsible for maintaining sufficient X API credits.

5. Subscription, billing, and refunds

Subscription plans renew on a recurring monthly basis at the plan price. You authorize us to charge your payment method each renewal. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We'll honor a full refund within 14 days of your first paid charge if you contact us at hello@saleio.app.

6. Data, privacy, and your content

Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of the leads, message templates, and other content you upload. We use that content only to operate the service for you. We don't train models on your data.

7. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't promise the service will be uninterrupted or bug-free. We may schedule maintenance, deploy changes, or take down the service temporarily. We'll do our best to communicate ahead of significant disruptions.

8. Termination

You can stop using Saleio at any time and delete your account from settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to other users or to X. On termination, we'll delete your data within 30 days unless we're required to retain it for legal reasons.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. If the changes are material, we'll email you. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
